What we process

You can use the whole guide without an account, a newsletter or a comment form, and without giving us any personal data. Café listings hold business information and are never used to profile visitors.

Correction emails

The correction form asks for your name, your email address, the café’s name (optional) and your message. When you press send, the site passes them to Resend, the service that delivers the site’s emails, which sends them to ESADEX®’s inbox. The site itself doesn’t store them in a database. ESADEX® uses your message to check the correction, reply to you and keep the guide accurate. Please don’t include sensitive personal information.

Technical data and language preference

Our hosting and security services may receive standard technical data such as your IP address, browser details, the time of the request and the page requested. The site may set one strictly necessary cookie, i18n_redirected, to remember your language. The site currently runs no analytics or advertising scripts.

Purposes and legal bases

We process correction emails to answer your request and keep the guide accurate. The legal basis is the action you ask us to take and, where relevant, the consent you give by sending the message. Hosting, security and language settings rely on legitimate interest or another applicable legal basis.

Retention

We keep correction emails only as long as we need them to handle the request and record what we changed, normally no more than 24 months, unless the law or a legal claim requires longer. We never use them for advertising and never sell them.

Recipients and outside services

When you send a correction, Resend, Inc., a United States email service, delivers the message on our behalf, and the mailbox provider used by ESADEX® receives it. The map comes from OpenStreetMap, and café, map and social links open services run by others. Those services have their own policies and may receive technical data when you visit them.

Under the GDPR and applicable law, you can ask to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to or port your personal data. Write to ESADEX® at the operator email above with enough detail for us to identify your request.

If you think your rights have not been respected, you can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
